Welcome to the Team Ministry of Penistone and Thurlstone.

The combined parish covers approximately 45 square miles and is served by 5 churches: St. John's, Penistone; St. Saviour's, Thurlstone; St. Aidan's, Oxspring; St. James, Midhopestones and St. Annes, Carlecotes.

As well as providing the usual services which you might expect of a church, we also offer unique facilities and activities for all ages throughout the year which include creative play sessions for young children in Penistone and Thurlstone, Tuesday Coffee Stop St. Saviour's in Thurlstone, the Open Doors Coffee Mornings on Thursdays and Satudays at St. John's, the "Stop and Surf Club" Friday club for teenagers and Art at the Altar, the highly successful annual arts and crafts exhibition which has now become a popular fixture of the Penistone and District calendar.

Other activities at in all of the team churches are advertised in the weekly Team News sheet available in the churches and on the News page.

We hope you enjoy your visit to this site and we look forward to seeing you - you're always sure of a warm welcome.
